Originally from Milang on the Fleurieu Peninsula where his parents still reside, Dr Pete completed his Chiropractic studies at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT). He holds multiple University degrees including a Bachelor’s (Complimentary Medicine) and Masters degree in Clinical Chiropractic Science, a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Science (Human Movement & Health Studies), as well as many other qualifications in the areas of fitness and coaching.
He loves chiropractic, beginning his journey with his family in chiropractic care as a 10 year old, and since then had the goal of becoming a Chiropractor.
Dr Pete is also passionate about family wellness and sports based care. He has a love for NBA basketball and Aussie Rules (don’t judge him too much for being a crows supporter) and his hobbies include basketball, footy and personal development. He has played at the South Australian State League junior and Victorian BigV basketball levels, whilst also playing in the South Australian Hills Football League for multiple teams; Lalor in the Northern Football League in suburban Melbourne, as well as recently in Western Region Victoria for the Casterton Cats. Due to a serious knee injury with Casterton, Peter has spent the last 2 years as senior coach for his hometown Milang Panthers senior football team in the Hills Football League.
Dr Pete has spent the past few years working as a chiropractor in Victoria before returning and working locally on the Fleurieu Peninsula. Dr Pete’s further training has been in multiple areas of sports, including injury diagnosis, treatment and management, rehabilitation and paediatric care. This coming year he will be completing the second half of the International Federation of Sports Chiropractic (FICS) post graduate diplomat, which allows him to be involved at major sporting international events. He will also be learning and using Applied Kinesiology.
